Mike Davis 個展「もしもし」 @CEDOKzakkastore 3F 4/28-5/6

チェドック3Fでは4月28日（土）から5月6日（日）までマイク・デイヴィスさんの個展を開催します。
日本での初個展となる今回は様々なアートプリントを携えてアメリカ、ミネアポリスから本人もやってきますよ！28日はオープニングのレセプションも開催予定なのでどなた様もぜひ！

アメリカ・ミネアポリスのグラフィックアーティスト、マイク・デイヴィスは、数々の賞に輝いたミネアポリスのグラフィック・アート・スタジオ、バーレスク・オブ・ノースアメリカの設立メンパーの一人。バーレスクのメンバーたちと共に、ポスタ一、ロゴ、 イラストレーション、アルバムジャケットなどを手がける他、Nike、Target、Kidrobot、Redbull, Chromeo、Stones Throw Recordsなどとのコラボも多数。彼のカラフルなデザインは1960~80年代の食品パッケージやグラフィティ、玩具など、当時の日常生活の中で広く使われていたグラフィックからインスパイアされている。”もしもし”は彼の日本初の個展。

Mike Davis is graphic artist living and working in Minneapolis, USA. He is one of the founders of the award winning graphic art studio Burlesque of North America. With his team at Burlesque, he has created posters, logos, illustrations, album artwork and more for Nike, Target, Kidrobot, Red Bull, Chromeo, Stones Throw Records, and more. His colorful work is inspired by designs of the 1960s – 80s, food packaging, graffiti, toys, and graphics found everyday in the streets and on household objects. “もしもし” is Mike’s first exhibit of artwork in Japan.
